Westfield Historical Society and Patricia & Paul’s Partners on Downtown Walking Tours
Learn more about Westfield's past and present through some of its most notable buildings and landmarks. Take some time to look at the 1911 firehouse, built in the Spanish architectural style, find out what Greek muse is atop the World War I obelisk in Memorial Plaza, and gaze for a moment at our beautiful historic architecture.
The historic walking tour, published by Downtown Westfield Corporation and the Westfield Historical Society, will be conducted by Paul Mecca of Patricia & Paul, and Marlo Avidon of the Westfield High School History Club. Tours will begin on Sunday, November 12 at 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm.
Those who wish to attend should meet in front of Patricia and Paul's, 20 Elm Street, Westfield. Each tour will be limited to 15 people on a first come, first served basis. Donations graciously accepted.
