Westfield Historical Society’s November First Wednesday Luncheon: “Jersey Stories You May Not Have Heard”

For the Westfield Historical Society’s First Wednesday Luncheon series in November, guests are welcome to the luncheon at Echo Lake Country Club on Wednesday November 1, 2023 beginning with check-in at 11:45am. Writer, Journalist and Speaker, Fred T. Rossi, will speak on “Jersey Stories You May Not Have Heard” from his latest book entitled Jersey Stories.
Author Fred T. Rossi, a writer and journalist for 30 years, has extensively researched some of the lesser-known stories about interesting people and unusual events from his home state’s history. “There’s something for everyone in Jersey Stories,” Rossi says, “History, politics, entertainment, lots of trivia and plenty of interesting characters and events. I think whether you’re a New Jersey resident or an expatriate, you’re sure to find something of interest in Jersey Stories.”

Please advise if there are special dietary needs. The luncheon fee of $40 (WHS members) or $45 (non-members) includes a three-course meal, coffee/tea, and gratuity. Depending on local Covid transmission levels, tables will be spaced out and mask wearing is at each guest’s discretion.
